It Seemed When We Met That We Were Looking for the Same Thing is a postcard pack of twenty ink drawings exploring the world of dating, casual sex and infatuation. A humorous and sardonic take on romantic and sexual behavior. The drawings and text prompt us to think about the connection – and often the incongruity – between our sexual behavior and our true desires.
The collection is divided into two sections: ten simple ink drawings, and ten ink drawings based on photographs by 19th century photographer Louise Jean-Baptiste Igout.
20 different postcards (14.8 x 10.5cm) printed on 290gsm pulp card. Reverse side blank.
